Remembrance
My abstract take on Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper. Here are some things I learned about the original piece that I wanted to include:
🎨There are 3 windows in the background and the disciples are grouped in 3 to represent the Trinity.
🎨Jesus is reaching for wine with one hand and bread with the other.
🎨Peter holds a knife in his hands while Judas holds the money bag.
🎨John is often mistaken for Mary Magdalene in the original painting simply because he doesn’t have a beard as he is the youngest disciple.
🎨Most of Leonardo’s disciples look super old (because Renaissance) but I couldn’t do that. Jesus’s disciples would most likely have been teens.
